I've done a crappy job

Expectations at Auburn were high when offensive coordinator Tony Franklin installed a new spread offense in the offseason. So with the Tigers' offense sputtering, Franklin hasn't shied away from criticism.

According to this article, "with candor, Franklin has again held himself entirely accountable, [telling] news reporters last week":

"I've done a crappy job of coaching football. … All the screw-ups are mine, trust me. … Hell, if I was (the fans), I'd boo me. I'd be angry. This product has not been good, and it was my product."
